We came across the idea of Mobile Self-Storage almost by accident: when visiting friends in California, they hired a mobile self-storage company for their daughter, who had just begun her studies. The idea was very simple: not you come to the storage, but the storage comes to you, in front of the door! We were immediately enthusiastic: it was a modular system that would enable us to offer our customers exactly the desired flexibility and the right service level for almost all situations in life.
The concept brought to Germany
When we got home and continued to research, we discovered that it is not an unknown concept. In the past 10 to 15 years, this idea has been firmly and successfully established in various forms in the USA, the UK and other countries. Then we decided to bring the concept to Germany and build our company in Munich.
No sooner said than done - we have dedicated ourselves to adapting and expanding the Mobile Storage concept for German urban needs - that took over 1.5 years.
In 2013, we launched our BoxConcept and are pleased that our ideas have appealed to many people and our customers are satisfied.
